In 2014, the Remacle family refurbished the Grodent cheese dairy, an institution in
the region. “We wanted to diversify, our son wanted to work on the farm, and the cheese
dairy, at least 10 km away from our home, needed refurbishing...”, summarises Fabienne
Remacle. The opportunity was therefore seized on, and it is now more than two years since the family, assisted by a former worker from Grodent, has been producing soft, semi-hard or hard cheeses, fromage frais, maquée, butter, and more.
