Built in 1886 at the initiative of the Belgian Government and inaugurated in 1888, Fort Lantin is the only fort of the Fortified Position of Liège that has not been modified since 1914 and one of the last remnants of military archaeology from the late 19th century.

In 1940, it was used as an ammunition depot and headquarters for the 3rd Infantry Division of the Belgian Army.

A show trail will allow you to discover life in a fort at that time. (Duration: 70 min)

Unusual accommodation: If you wish to test the living conditions of the soldiers in 1914, we have arranged in collaboration with the Tourism Federation of Tourism of the Province of Liege, two troop rooms, inside the fort... (Compulsory reservation from min. 10 people).
