With its 22-metre-high, superbly renovated, listed roof structure, the Manège Fonck, which once housed the horses of the barracks, now exudes a highly poetic atmosphere, probably due to the light that penetrates it sparingly, to its faded blue walls or even the memories of its particular shows. The place has retained its raw character while presenting the functionalities of an auditorium.
Since its renovation in 2009, it has become an essential venue and mainly a showcase for the Liège Festival. The Manège Fonck offers a multitude of layout possibilities. The former stables, adjacent to the Manège are also imbued with a warm atmosphere where events can also be organised.
