Built between 1836 and 1838 in the centre of Liège, the Passage Lemonnier is a 168 m long covered gallery linking the Vinâve d'Ile pedestrian street with the Rue de l'Université and including some thirty shops.
The Passage Lemonnier was Belgium's first shopping arcade.
