River marina - Liège
We strongly recommend that you consult the website of this service provider to find out the opening dates, terms and conditions of access to the tourist site.
The marina as we know it today is located along the Boulevard Frère Orban in Liège and was first used for cargo landing at the end of the 19th century, it is only a few minutes away from the historic centre. The facilities offer 120 places for visiting vessels and permanent berths.
The "Plongeur" (the diver), a sculpture originally commissioned to Idel Ianchelevici for the Liège International Exhibition, was initially placed at the Albert Canal entrance. According to period documents, a replica was made in 1998 and inaugurated in 2000. It can now be seen at the northern end of the marina, in the axis of Boulevard Piercot.
