The original and offbeat 30-hectare museum.
For the first time in Europe, a museum stretches out over 30 hectares. It is not simply restricted to one single building containing archaeological collections but rather is spread out in the forest, marked out by unique experiences, each one opening a different door on the past. It is you who creates your path, your own travel diary through time and space.
The Prehistomuseum is:
1 classified cave
2 permanent exhibitions
2 temporary exhibitions per year
9 outdoor experiences
12 practical workshops
1 archeorestaurant
1 plain of mammoth games
8km of forest walks
1 attractive shop
1 auditorium with 170 seats
Series of lectures
1 training and research centre
1 presentation area for companies
