It was monks who started brewing at the Abbey. Over the centuries, they perfected their beer production. Today, the beers brewed on the site are inspired by the monks’ original recipes, true to the tradition of beers refermented in the bottle. The manufacturing process, which requires 6 to 8 weeks, makes it possible to obtain high alcohol contents and the complex aromas that make up the originality of the Val-Dieu range.
