Trésor de la cathédrale de Liège presents an exceptional discovery of the art and history of the former Principality of Liège.
Trésor has a soul and is the reflection of the culture, art and history of the episcopal principality of Liège. This vast territory, by the Meuse river, was ruled by a bishop, a delegate of the Holy Roman Emperor, on the borders of other worlds.
Trésor's new presentation showcases exceptional works of art with key explanations for the visitor.
Enjoy the emotion of a visit, discover the show in the exhibition hall integrated into the monument's architecture, the aesthetics, the didacticism, the scientific quality of the comments and simply appreciate the pleasure of a certain culture shock.
The visit-conference will immerse you into the atmosphere even further and, after a good hour, you will leave the cathedral, a major piece of Walloon heritage, with an unforgettable memory, and an acquired ability to understand Liège. In the Middle Ages and even under the Ancien Regime, the Trésor was Liège's historic conscience.
